Come Out & Play Every Tuesday

All WWGA members are welcome to play in the Tuesday Games. We play every Tuesday morning around 8:00 beginning in April and ending in October. This league has four separate groups to appeal to the wide variety of women golfers at The Woods.

SL9 plays 9 holes on Stony Lick. This is the ideal group for players starting out or for more experienced players who either do not have the time or perhaps inclination to play more than 9 holes. If you are new to golf, the experienced players in this group can show you the ropes.
SL18 plays 18 holes on Stony Lick. This group has players who want the challenge of playing 18 holes, but may not have the length or perhaps desire to play on the longer Mountain View course.
MV9 plays 9 holes on Mountain View. This group has players who are ready to try a more challenging course or who don’t have the time to play all 18 holes.
MV18 plays 18 holes on Mountain View. This group has players who want the challenge of a championship course.

The Tuesday Games are set up to provide friendly competitions among the players in each group. Scrambles played 3-4 times per season provide an opportunity for all four groups to play together. The Tuesday games use your full GHIN course handicap and play under USGA rules. If you haven’t played 3 18-hole games or 6 9-hole games to establish a handicap, you may still play as long as you have registered for a GHIN handicap.

Playing in the Tuesday games costs $10 at the time that you register with the WWGA. We use a point system to award points for winning the Tuesday games, chip-ins, and participation. Roughly ¼ or more of the players in each group will receive points for winning or placing. At the end of the season, payouts are given based on the points you have accumulated during the season with additional funding from optional 50/50 raffles during the season.
