The Hedgesville Lions Club is preparing for their 11th golf tournament. This fundraiser will be on May 6, 2024, at The Woods Resort. The golf tournaments are the Lions Club main source of funding. The Lions Club uses 100% of the net proceeds earned from public fundraising projects to aid and support communities, both local and worldwide. Lions Clubs International is well known for their humanitarian and disaster work. The Hedgesville Lions Club is proud to support that work and be of service locally.
The May 6th tournament will award prizes to the first and second place winning teams and a prize to the first-place women’s team. There will also be a putting, longest drive and closest to the pin contest. Raffle items and a 50/50 will also be part of the event. Check-in will begin at 9:00am with a Chick -fil-A breakfast at 9:15am and tee time will be 10:00am. A luncheon will be served after the tournament.
To register a player, a team, or be a sponsor, go to the Lions Club website – www.hedgesvillelions.com. Each golfer who registers by April 22nd will receive a FREE mulligan. All golfers must register and make payment by April 29th.
